The NCRS Judging Manual for 1967 indicates that both DC and DG are correct markings for 15 x 6 Corvette Rally Wheels.
I (or you) would have to do additional research to determine for WHAT TIME PERIOD the DC and DG markings were correct. I think DG was either very early production or very late production. I know April 1967 production cars had DC. The NCRS Judging Manual does not cover this detail.
My observations over the years is that DG wheels are correct for 67s and ran very nearly concurrently with DCs. Mid production cars are seen with either DG or DC.
Correct me if i am wrong but dg coded rally wheels are 14x6 not 15x6.thanks,brian
Brian, this might be one reason, who knows, for the change from DG to DC as yes, there was a 14X6 DG rally wheel. So you are not wrong. But the other comments are correct also. Not the norm for sure.
