I have a trim tag for a 1967 Corvette 427/400 that reads as follows.
If anyone can shed any light on exactly what this means, that would be great. Specifically I am unsure of the B20
Thanks in advance for the help.
B20
Style 67 437 SO276 Body
Trim 414JJ 976AA Paint
Vin tag next to trim tag reads:
194377S101200
Also, how would you know if it is a real BB 427 car. Engine pad looks correct with broach marks and it was top flighted, but thought I would ask.

Documentation and/or a lot of detective work.
194377S101200 = 1200th '67 Corvette built.
SO276 = 276th St. Louis coupe body built.
For example:
'Old Blue's' born on date is B16, four days earlier. So it must have been a Thursday if yours is a Monday. He was the 932nd '67 Corvette built and the 393rd St. Louis convertable.
Appears that St. Louis 'vert production was way ahead of coupes. 276 vrs. 393 (four days earlier).
