need a quick answer about vin#
Hey Guy's I'm usually over in the C4 area but I have a question for ya. A guy wants to sell me a 65 coupe really cheap. He sent me pics and info and also included the VIN # since carfax will only go back to 81 how can I track the VIN# The guy who want's to sell me the car is a foriegn man from the state of Oregon. This is my first time trying to buy a car like this. Could I try and contact the DMV of Oregon and ask if the car is registered in his name? He want's to ship me the car first. He is going through Yahoo he said. He said he will ship the car and if I like it I pay Yahoo and Yahoo will pay him. HELP ME QUICK WHAT ELSE SHOULD I TRY TO SEE IF IT'S LEGIT. Thanks for any help. However, from what you say, you are in a no risk situation.
Let him ship you the car, and then take your time checking it all out. Including taking it to your local law enforcement agency to have the title confirmed.
If it proves to be legit, then send him the cheap money. And enjoy your new cheap 65 coupe. I am thinking that you are not going to see any car arriving anytime soon,,,,,,,,,
after that transaction is concluded,,,,, I have a big red bridge up on the central CA coast that I can offer to you at a really cheap price. You can pay me via paypal

If he ships the car with no money up front How can he lose anything?
He has plenty of time to have it checked out by whatever means.
He wants and if it is bogus? HE has to give the car up. He wont be the one holding.
I mean I know there is always some kind of scam. But I dont see how it would Hurt him.

Hmm wonder what it would cost to ship that bridge? It's operable so no extra charge for shipping. I really like the color. I should list it on U Ship.com and see how much to ship?
