Well, I can tell by this photo that you definitely use the car in all sorts of weather and that your roadster has the proper weather equipment (soft top). And that your spiffy passenger also has the proper weather equipment for the rain (Wellies). And I'm a guy, I'm not supposed to know those kind of things !

I'll cruise past my old DOD place and crack the pipes for them. Secret Service may think it's an attack! Dennis

Since I'll be in St Charles on Friday, I guess my 90 will be parked in the driveway, my place of employment these days. Done.

I'll be driving my ZR-1-ish-powered caddy with Z06 brakes and magnetic ride control suspension.

Does that count?

Default rain in dc

Looks like rain in D.C. tomorrow. I like to take my shower before I go to work, not while driving to work.

Default Fair Warning

Last reminder before Friday for this auspicious day. I will park my StingRay at work, along Route 66 in Oklahoma City, south of Memorial Road and Kelley Ave., honk or drop a rear halfshaft joint in honor of what has now become known as "DYCTW" Day. I'll see if I can get together a video of how I celebrate (same as Cinco de Mayo and Easter). Drive 'em if ya gottem' !

I drove the 70 Chevelle conv to work Tue with the top down. When I got off work (4pm) and headed home (thought the open air breeze would be good enough, WRONG!). Got down the Interstate a couple of miles and pullled under an overpass and put up the top, turned on the AC, and enjoyed the rest of the drive home!

Today, I drove the Cutlass to work and immediately started out with the air on hi. I like air conditioning!

Oh ya Ray, by the way, I'm considering driving the 56 up to Tulsa VERY early Sun am and then coming back with the NCRS road tour as far as Yukon or El Reno----------------------maybe.

Default Friday !

Pretty excited about driving the Corvette to work today and being part of a national celebration. Went out to the garage and it wouldn't start....

I keed, I keed !

Started up just fine, woke the neighbours and took a nice fairly cool drive to work. I didn't see any other Corvettes on the road (7:25 am,CST) but did get a few thumbe up from the contruction workers by my job.

I'll buzz her around at lunchtime and as DZAUTO stated above, the ride home is gonna be a hot one (101F. here in God's country) but I'll be okay, that one switch on the center of the dash get's the 34F. a/c blowin' !

Have a great National Holiday (for us, at least).

I really like driving my car, but it was 107 degrees yesterday and it is predicted to be just as warm today. sitting in stop-and-go traffic at 100+ weather just ain't any fun!
