I am very new to this site and in the process of possibly buying a 66-67. I am wondering what is the best way to find the values on these cars. There seems to be a huge range from project cars, to drivers, to show cars. The car I am looking at I think is considered a good driver. Any experts on here that will share there "expertise" on how to judge and evaluate these cars is appreciated.
I will have more details on the car after this weekend.
Do a search on value, rust, bad birdcage and you'll have plenty of information to get you started. It would be best to have someone who knows these cars look at it with you or for you before buying.
Like your name, kinda reminds me of the song ' it's a girl my Lord, in a flatbed Ford, slowin down to to take a look at me'. Now to your ?, try to get someone who has had, or does have one to look with you. Remember we are in a down market at this time. Bill.

ABSOLUTELY,
I think there some good buys out there but a shiny car may not be nearly as good of a buy if it has major problems that are not obivious, as a not so shiny car for the same price that is a good solid not messed with original car.
When you find a car that interests you, Get someone who is qualified to assist you to evaluate the car. Watch for RUST, MAJOR DAMAGE and A CAR THAT HAS BEEN ALL CHANGED AROUND.
There are good cars out there but you may have to look for a while.
