I personally think as well as sun, that
Temperature fluxuations has alot of affect on lacquer! i know some guys, if they are going to drive it that day, will push it out in the morning so there is a gradual warming up along with stability of temperatures where stored. Also has alot to do with the temps of the selected products for application. It can be too cool to paint and too hot to paint. Also as to how many coats were applied!
