Examples of your Car Show Information Boards
I took my 64 to a couple of car shows last year and a lot of the other people had neat car information boards. I would like to see some of yours so I can get ideas for mine. Thanks, Richard

The fellow that did this for me has been around since Big Daddy Roth...
His name is Howard Zeller
I had some corrections done to this after the picture was taken...
Hardtop only...should have been 1303 built...

Not bragging but I've had people 3 rows deep at the bigger car shows looking over one another to read my sign. I must have hit on a good combination of history and specifics because it gets more attention than I would have ever thought. (I've had folks actually take pictures of just the sign and ignore the car ???). The plastic laminate sign cost about $40 bucks from a local printer and is attached to a Home Depot plastic sawhorse with Velcro tape...very stable and secure unless the wind is too much for a car show anyway!!!
This sign along with my reproduction (but totally accurate) window sticker seem to add a lot of interest to the vehicle.

Melting Slicks
This was entirely hand painted by a local pinstriper. Don't use it any more but it makes great garage art.

When making a showboard, remember that less is more. Too much info. is worse than too little. It should be able to be read in just a few seconds. Anything more is BORING. This info. is posted by every co. that makes them.

Totally agree. All the excess general info is worthless and distracts from the design.
