Interior Heat and Sound Insulation

Interior Heat and Sound Insulation
Has anyone used or have any information on a heat and sound installation kit from Quiet Ride Solutions? There is an article in this months Chevy High Performance stating this kit lowers the inside temperatures 20 to 25 degrees and a 10 to 18 decibels reduction in noise levels. The kit contains Dynamat products and a jute fiber tech material called AoustiShield. Looking for any input, I am planning to use all Dynamat but if there is something better its worth the look. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

c66vet,
Happy Easter!
I have no personal experience on this product but he did advertise here. Maybe others here can chime in on their experience with it. If you read his writeups, sounds like a cut above others out there.

Also, check Eastwood's website for their product.

I've also been researching products. I was recently referred to a company, Cascade Audio, by a stereo installer.

They seem to have a better product than Dynamat, same price.
I spoke to a tech there, Paul, who is extremely knowledgeable about the various products and applications.

I've looked into this quite a lot for insulating my C6 for sound and heat. I have previously put B-Quiet Ultimate and sound insulation (forget the name at the moment; from Home Depot) in my 67 roadster. Learned that roadsters are so loud from wind and road noise that insulation is pointless.
Here's are best materials I'm aware of: http://www.secondskinaudio.com/
I've put a Dynamat-like material in my 2007 coupe, next comes their Luxury Liner Pro.

Good Luck! ... everyone has their favorite combo of materials, and there are a million web sites out there on this topic. I'm happy with my choices.
