Thanks. Really like the air dam. Thinking about one of those myself.
No, not pulling your chain. Normally the V in the tread points in the direction of rotation. In the pictures the left front looks like it is going backwards.
Note the tread pattern on this tire and the "rotation" marking at about 7 o'clock.

The spoilers are pretty rough from Eckler's, I front side is gel coated, but the backs are really rough. I filled the backside with a slurry of micro balloons and resin and smoothed it up a lot. After the paint was done I came back and coated the back side with brush on bed liner to keep it from getting rock snackles. The neat part of the dam and one of the reasons I installed it was that it covers up the suspension when viewing the car from the front.

Sounds like the one I bought from Vanacor about a year ago. It wasn't formed right so I never mounted it. The curvature was differant side to side. Still thinking about one though.

Mine was white gelcoat so maybe a different mfg. It sure was trimmed a lot better than the one you ended up with. Actually, mine was good except for the rough back, but that was an easy fix.

Dave,
That looks great!!! Glad you finally got it on the road and by looks close to finish! Congratulations on a long successful journey and the best part is you did it with your kid!

Did you leave the front bumpers off because of spoiler?
Used the same spoiler on my 66 and notches had to be cut in it to fit bumpers. Not the best look on it.
Used it one on the 64 too, but had shop extended it down so bumper brackets have holes to fit them thur, rather than open notches.
Car is looking good and will look a lot better with the doors.

Looks totally awesome dude. Love the flames. Watch out for the "no side mirror" ticket when bombing around. Thats what they give me when I take the doors off my old Jeep YJ .
