Default It's on the road!

After two years it's not quite finished but street worthy if you don't mind the beach cruiser look. Wife and son taking it out on it's maiden voyage. We put 20 miles on it today without a hitch.

You still have a little less than a month, and from the looks of it you'll make it...

You can get plenty of entertainment at the Peppermill, so you sure don't need to come and watch me swear at the car.

Only in the coves. I wanted flames but not overly done. They look better in person.

Looks good!
Where did you get the air dam?
Are the tires on the right sides? They look directional and going the wrong way?

The air dam came from Eckler's. It's bonded to the chin and the parting line is filled and faired in. Tires? Look OK to me and I just went and looked. Are you pulling my chain?

You know, I could smooth out the door jams and install a few can holders on the sill., and maybe a NASCAR net to keep the occupants from falling out in a drunken stupor.

Wow, maybe I've created a new monster.(or something?)

Seriously, it has been a really happy day at our house after getting this back on the road, and I thank all you guys for your nice comments.

Looks no front bumpers for the RED RIDER
I cannot see the holes for the side mounts because of the shine

Thanks. Really like the air dam. Thinking about one of those myself.
No, not pulling your chain. Normally the V in the tread points in the direction of rotation. In the pictures the left front looks like it is going backwards.
Note the tread pattern on this tire and the "rotation" marking at about 7 o'clock.
