I didn't give any advice except for the op to provide more information.

I don't think anyone has given bad advice. There are several instances of inappropriate advice for the problem because the sinners didn't correctly read the problem.

A little tip here. The OP didn't say ANYTHING about can clearance.

If you add a Finnegan pin to the non adjustable Holley 4160, you can convert it to an infinitely adjustable PM carburetor.

pull the crane out and install an MSD system and distributer add a manually controlled timing module and you'll be trouble free.... this is too much fun! we gotta keep it going....
