Beautiful!!
Chassis was steel not aluminum as it states on the article attached.
Reference; The stock Corvette’s relatively heavy, mass produced stamped steel/welded frame would be replaced with a mandrel bent, thin wall steel tubing frame. http://www.racingicons.com/gs/gsdiff.htm

[QUOTE=zoraarcus;1596106557]She's finally back home. Single stage, lots of orange peel, drips, sags, lacquer dull, flat interior and the correct stripe shadow lines on nose (post repair/repaint). Names and number soon I hope. Depending on the flash, angle and light, the colors are ever changing. In person its much more correct.

Old picture attachements
I was checking out some of the early post on this thread and noticed that many of the pictures were replaced with blocks asking to update your accounts to enable 3rd party hosting. Am I the only one getting that, or have tho old pictures been disabled?

That's a money grab by photobucket. You aren't doing anything wrong.

More pics of lightweight stuff going on. Note: high tech washer sprayer, '63 window seals/fuzzies that were never designed to fit a kit, wiring to side roundel lights and Delmo's trunk to-do list (thanks Marty)

Larry, the window channels look great. What did you decide to do to make them work?

Basically the glass is too thick for the top opening (half the size of stock '63 coupe) I used stock U channel front, and the bent top and rear. It is even too thick for a smooth movement. Glass can hold without Velcro. The glass is off center in the opening so am able to install OEM inside corner fuzzy/SS trim and cut down OEM inside horizontal trim since wing window is fixed. BUT outside has no room for any trim or rubber wiper so i just installed an adhesive mohair tape to cut down on scratches. It's all tight with finger grip glued on plus Velcro strap. Not what I set out to achieve.

There are only a couple of choices at present. Kinsler, and Harrop. I own a set of Kinsler's for my big engine project, and I have a Harrop set-up on the way for my LS3.
I also have a set of the Jenvey's for my LS3, but I decided not to fool with them once I mocked things up and saw the awful port alignment issue. Their throttle linkage is also mickey-mouse.
I think Kinsler sells a drive-by-wire throttle set-up now, and the Harrop's are also available with drive-by-wire. (https://www.harrop.com.au/shop/autom...e-manifold-etc)

Mr Wizzard:
Thanks for the information. Sorry so long in getting back to you, I have been taking care of my wife for a few years now, and she passed away last month. (Yesterday) I still hate even writing it, I knew her for 39 years. Trying to stay focused on projects I am dedicated to now.
=========
I'm guessing "Kinsler" will make about anything you want with a little, is this correct? Money $7-$9k is what I have heard depending on what they are doing. I'm guessing my request of a side draft Cross Ram is nothing new, and has been done numerous times before. Kinsler (i'm guessing will make sure the the intake is made correctly for the ports of the engine you plan on using, right?)
Are you satisfied with the intake you received from them? Was it complete? When is the completion date on your BBC?
Thank you for your feedback.
Sincerely,
Ty O''Neal

Here's something for you to chew on Ty.....
This is the Harrop ITB set-up. I'm making some new ram tubes for the combination right now. Hope to have some pics of them next week. I can tell you this...the build quality on the Harrop is outstanding....

Ty, I too am sorry to hear of your loss. Condolences and prayers for you and your family.
I wanted to share with everyone here the pleasure I had of spending time with Rick Costa this past weekend. He shared a DVD that the Simeone Museum shot of him driving the #002 GS there back in 2010. I offered to extract the clip and post it to YouTube for him so that others could enjoy this rare experience. He hopes you enjoy the video! (Be sure to listen to his closing comments at the end of the video. )

Rick Costa also gave me a ride in his 1963 L88 Grand Sport Replica. Enjoy!
