Hardtop headliner trim.
I'm thinking of working on my hardtop headliner for my early '64. The headliner is presently painted gold (Bubba job) and I understand should be interior color (red). The metal trim moldings around the interior are all chromed with some pitting. Should they be rechromed or painted interior color? Thanks.

I believe the stainless trim pieces are painted the interior color.

Mine are gloss black. I added hushmat to roof before I re-installed the headliner. You won't believe how much quieter it is. Does not affect headliner fit at all.
