Mirror resilvering

Does anybody resilver mirrors any more, or should I just buy the repro glass from Zip's? I got my rear view out in 1 piece but I can't find anyone that does that any more. Shemp

have you tried a old time glass shop? and I believe the was a article in the NCRS restorer a couple of years ago on how to do it

Look into "reflector telescopes." Should be a wealth of people who can silver a mirror.

I found one in NY, then kept looking and found one in Baltimore. He quoted $25. Will let you know the outcome. Shemp

The most recent NCRS Restorer listed an ad for Joyce Borrell mirror restoration, Ephrata PA, 717-733-5224. Can't comment on results just hope to sell them my extras as cores.
