It's not hard, just a little time consuming. You must removed shock, brake line, emergency brake cable, strut arm, half shaft from spindle, and rear spring. You need to jack up the rear spring to remove tension on spring bolt and be sure to chain the spring up before removing the jack. There's a lot of downward pressure on the spring. Once you have everything loose from the arm, remove the trailing arm bolt and be careful to watch how many shims there are and which side they are from. They need to go back the same way.

I call myself a backyard mechanic. It wasn't hard to do. If needed I would do it again.

Its not all that difficult as described above unless the bolt is seized in the front bushing. Heck the last one I did was in Hampton Inn parking lot!

Reference the chassis service manual for your year car. I did the same on my 67 coupe and while it takes a little time, everything came out great.

Good luck!
