My second hand hangs up each revolution on the minute hand, I can move the adjustment to relieve it, but only until the second hand comes around.
Can I remove the clock thru the glove box?
Lt.C.
I had this happen a few years back and was able to fix it without removing anything. I set the clock at 12:00 and waited until the second hand came down to the hole where the set shaft enters the clock lens. I have a disconnect on the battery and had my son kill the power when the second hand was just past the six o'clock position. It took a few tries to get it just right. I then took a thin wire ( I got from stripping the paper/plastic off of a twist tie) and bent the tip to a small right angle. I slipped the wire into the hole and was able to easily get the bent tip of the wire behind the second hand at it's tip. A very slight pull was enough to bend the hand ever so slightly so it wouldn't get hung up. It's been fine ever since and no damage done. Dave
Very easy. There will be two lights pluged in the back and the power wires. I think one nut, maybe two.

Hi Greg, no nuts. The clock has two **** to which spring-loaded clips attach. Those clips keep the clock in the dash. The 2 bulbs unsnap, as does the 2-wire power terminal.

You are correct, it has been a year since I have been back there. Here is a photo of the back. Might help.
