quick ls engine question
those of you that have swapped a ls engine, how did you set up the
electric tach. meaning does the ls engine computer read a 4 cylinder?
or a 6 or 8. i have heard a 4 cylinder. thanks jim

the computer outputs like a 4 cyl tach. so if you bought an aftermarket autometer gauge or something, just set it to 4.
alternatively, the ecm can be changed to output resolution like an 8 cyl. i had to use this feature since i had my original tach converted with a board from a '78 tach. i wanted to retain an original cluster appearance.
