Default Headers

Does anyone have a recommendation for long branch headers that will fit a '60 with a 350ci? I don't want block huggers. Car is a 4speed currently but will probably end up being an automatic due to the fact that I am tall and my knees bang the dash and cluster when I work the clutch.

I have decided to have the car short-term look a period 60's hotrod while I collect all of the parts to due a full numbers restoration. Since I will have this car for the rest of my life I think its OK go go through phases.

I decided the only mods will be dress up type items. No mods to wiring, interior etc- Just intake, carb valve covers ARE Torq Thrusts and headers.

Thanks

When I built my black car I researched all the SBC headers made in 2004. This what I came up with.

Hedman # 68136 coated, and the only one that will work with angle plug heads. And all the good heads are angle, so this option should be open for the future.

Hooker Super comps #2108HKR , will not fit angle heads, Can not use the 168 tooth fly wheel.

Hooker Comps #2456HKR, will not fit angle plug heads

Flow tech #11106, listed to fit both C1 &C2 cars. In reality, it is a C2 header and will not fit a C1.

I do not know if the hookers are still available. I know the Hedmans were discontinued 3 years ago. My friend spent $1000 to get a set 2 years ago.

After that I found a new set and picked them up for a spare. I am willing to letting them go to a good home. Jim
