does anyone make a collapsable steering column for a 65 Vette? Is it even possible to get one to fit as i cut 1&1/2 in off my stock column to install a Borgeson box....seemed like the thing to do at the time ..
Part way through the Borgeson conversion on my 66 and considering this myself. I'm not sure that the ididit or flaming river columns are collapsible. Anyone figured out a good way to upgrade to collapsible steering column in a pre 67 C2?
Going to Carlisle this weekend. If I find a 67 Column would that bolt right in? Thinking this may not be cheap though!
'67 columns in usable condition are very expensive, and you also need the '67 pedal support and '67 intermediate mounting bracket to attach it properly in the car.
JohnZ, after some time in the Carlisle swap meet I can certainly say you are right, and also not the easiest conversion looking at the parts.
Stock 66 column it is for me!
