Default defroster/heater *****

any idea how to remove the defrost and heater *****? on one i see a set screw, so that obvious. But i dont see that on others. How do i get those off to replace

On my 66 the far right one is threaded on...pull it out and put some pliers on the shaft and twist counter clockwise.

It would help to know what year your working on!

62 and earlier, have pressed on *****. On 63-67's, the heater ***** are threaded. Fan ***** have a set screw.

Pretty much. I don't know of any trick to it, other than just trying to pry them loose. Sometimes you'll have ***** that don't want to come off the shaft, and sometimes you get ***** that won't stay on!

The repro ***** are threaded. To install them, you need to thread your original shafts.
