Installing the dash and instruments and wiring harness.
I have them all apart, out of the car and re-freshed.
Should I install the dash and then a pre-wired instrument cluster. or install the wiring harness first.
Seems if I pre-wire I won't be on my back as much.
Your opinions or experiences are welcome.
Thanks
Jim

(I know about the turn signal windows....)

I should have the proper radio bezels this week

Do you mean that the whole dash was assembled with wiring and assembled as a unit?Originally Posted by 62Jeff
The instruments, installed in the dash assembly, and wired, is how they installed the whole assembly at the factory.
Thanks!
Jim
I wired the main harness to the cluster and then went from there. Worked pretty well

No. The main dash panel and eyebrow pads was already in the car, including the speaker, grille and defroster outlet. The cluster was built up off-line with the dash harness installed, then installed as an assembly; then the fuse block was secured, and the wiring to the RH side was routed and connected.
