I guess I missed something on this. Why not just buy a '63 split window? Why convert a '67 to a split window?
If it is the big block and the disk brakes, you can always add them to a '63.

Not as fast as I used to be but the 67 split window is one piece now . Those wide quarters finish the look nicely .

Nothing mythical about a '67 split window. I have guys at car shows telling me all the time about the one his brother had but they were metal.
