on the passenger exhaust manifold on the four cylinder.



it looks to be a bolt with a rounded off head. but why

its for a L36 with factory A/C.

He plugged the hole for the "CHOKE" tube that goes to "CARB"

There shouldn't be a choke tube on that motor.

There should be a bi-metallic spring on the intake.

That's an easy one...............

The bolt head is rounded off because they couldn't get it out!

Grind it off flush and forget about it?

Try to take it off and if that does not work sand it down so you dont see it

Nope - the boss that's drilled for the hot air tube on a '65 396 is in the #2 runner, just below the junction with the #4 runner. Whatever that is, it's some Bubba thing.
