Another engine stamp ??

were the engines stamped at engine plant before or after the heads were installed? check out the picture of the stamp pad area in this ad

BB's were stamped prior to installing the heads, small blocks were stamped after the heads were installed.

Probably because it is. It's odd that every picture is perfect except the ones that show critical numbers. Those are blurry.

IMO the "6" at the end of the VIN stamp is wrong font and up too high - even with a worn / abused fixture I really would not expect to see it up this high.

Agree the engine stamp is way to high.

Picture is to distorted to see broach marks.

Nice looking and great color combo thought
