The old girl is getting a complete body makeover, Have had all the chrome re-done, new tires awaiting to be mounted, new steering wheel that is on the way, new seats to be custom made, new gauges to be ordered, a new engine and trans to be custom built for her, a new custom windshield to be made, It looks like the old girl when finished will have a complete makeover still in progress. From start to now.
So you can see what the old girl has got and will be getting more of for Christmas. Follow along.

Bought my 65 coupe a new SRIII chassis and a new Winters Quick Change rear end that will mate to the C5 rear suspension. Talked to Mike last week, and he said that I would not receive my chassis before the end of the year. 1COOLC2 must have talked him into moving his chassis in front of me in the que!

80 will leave me a little extra in case of the inevitable screw up. In a previous thread I believe that we decided that 70 sq.ft. will take care of a midyear coupe, including the roof underside, inside of both doors, complete rear as well as the usual floor, cowl, etc.

1) How many co-workers will 80 sheets of Hushmat mute?
2) I see from your avatar you took a few photos at Lakewood. 5 more months and you have to come back to it again.

1) There is not enough Hushmat at Amazon or Overstock.com to shut up those bickering jackwads at my work.
2) I was scrolling through some old photos and found many of that custom from Lakewood. Do you recognize those front bumper ends ? Your pal Doug from Weatherford is hoping to sell his '65 365hp silver/red coupe so that he can buy a plane so we can fly down to Keels And Wheels in April. Those five hours in the car with me must have really taken it's toll on him.

I'm hoping for a "real" teak wheel.....
I think...(but not sure) that my 2 sons got together and bought me a Eric Freeman Teak steering wheel!! I know it's not correct for my 67' but I love the look and feel of a real wood wheel!! Guess I'll just have to wait until Sunday morning...
