I'd like to get my original spring re-arched. I have a truck spring shop that does that type of work but would like to know if there are certain dimensions of the amount of arch that I should request. I don't want the rear sitting too high after it's done. Thanks for any help. Dave
Yep, there are dimensions available. Someone had them posted in a previous forum post which I don't have immediately available. I'll look a bit later, maybe before I get to it someone else will respond!
The typical inspection go/no-go dim that has been used is 10" +/- 1/8 measured from the centers of the end bolt holes to the bottom of the lower leaf arch. Not real easy to determine as the holes become elliptical & the lower edge has the center bolt in the way. (Assuming 9-leaf OEM spring to start with)
'Cold' re-arching is another matter ...

Thanks Vark_wso for the info. It is an original 9-leaf spring and your picture was a great help as well. Thanks for posting. Dave
