Default 1955 Corvette engine?

Hi, I saw this car on bring a trailer and the guy says he thinks someone fitted it with a Corvette engine form 1955, engine number T219GC. I know it may be a far reach but, figured if the someone here owned the car they'd be happy to find the engine, here are the links. He has the car, a really cool one IMOP, on ebay.

http://bringatrailer.com/2012/01/23/...omete-project/

from ebay: "The car is currently fitted with what I believe to be a Corvette engine from 1955, the engine number is T219GC. The rear tires are slick drag racing tires."

ebay item number 330676256726
Hope it may helps someone. Max

All Corvette engines were built in Flint. So a "T" number would not be right.

I agree with the above, plus it looks like the valve cover bolts are not staggered and did you look for an oil filter? It shouldn’t have one.
