whats a ballpark figure that I could expect to pay for a complete set of original Bright Blue seatbelts in good condition for my 67

300. +/- is my guess for a nice set. It would be easier to purchase a used set in poor condition and have them restored in bright blue.

When I bought my ’67, the original seat belts were long gone. The airplane type buckles drove me crazy so I searched for about a year. I finally pulled the trigger and bought a set off ebay last year. A complete set (black) with refurbished buckles, new webbing, retractors and boots ran me $350. They were beautifully done and there are some good sellers on ebay, you just have to be careful. It took a while to get over the sticker shock, but that’s pretty much the going price.

I used Charlie too. All original date stamped stuff...lot more than 350.00 but very nice outcome.

Definitely try to find some in good condition. The prices the restoration places charge are equivalent to rape. I called to have some done for a car I was doing and it was $750 and didn't include any re-chroming if needed. I ended up dis-assembling them, re-dyeing the belts and sewed on new labels. They came out perfect and it cost less than $50.
