Default I've got three.....

Mid years

a 1966 coupe 427/425

a 1965 coupe 327/365

a 1967 roadster 327/300

The 67 is by far the nicest driving and most dependable of the three! I would not hesitate to get in it tomorrow and drive it on a 2000 mile road trip...

I love BBs! In Chevelles, Camaros, trucks. Just not the Vette. Yes I drool over a Tri-power 427 just like the rest of us.

But as a daily or even part time driver, I will always choose the SB for the Vette.

The small block C2 is a beautifully balanced, pleasant driver. It's light, handles and it revs to the moon etc..

Agree, and 2nd the 327. It's a fantastic engine.

I have a 327/300 and 327/365, both 64's. I have never driven a big block car but I wish I had. My 300HP roadster is probably tired, the engine is very mellow but reliable and trouble free... a pleasure to drive but not wild.

The 365HP coupe is like a totally different car, it also has 4:11's so its not a highway cruiser, but it is really fun and I love how it revs and makes top end power. I really love the engine in this car.
