Shocking question

I currently have a 65 small block coupe that has a composite rear spring with a tag on it that says 300lbs. It has KYB shocks all around. The vette rides real nice but is a little too bouncy and soft in the rear. Front is real nice and tight and kind of stff . I would like to get the rear to feel the same while keeping composite spring. Any suggestions for what shock to use to stiffen the rear up just a little. Thanks

I would change the spring to the 330#.

Whether you stay with the 300# spring or go stiffer, in either case you need rear shocks calibrated specifically for the composite spring, with more rebound damping than "standard" shocks. There's no interleaf friction with a composite spring, so the shocks have to compensate for that, or the rear suspension is "bouncy". Vette Brakes has the shocks.
