I know this is nearly an impossible request, but I'm going to ask anyway. I'm thinking about selling my Vette, and I have no idea what it's value is. It's a 1966 Non-matching numbers coupe with side pipes. It has a replacement 327/300 engine (It was replaced in the early 70's). 4-speed manual. It was restored to a reasonable standard about 6 years ago. The paint looks great with a 3 nicks that have been touched up. It has a vinyl interior. It's missing the spare tire setup in the back. It also has a 1967 427 hood. Looks good, but kind of poser-ish (I didn't add it, I just kept in on).
Runs great, sounds great, looks awesome. It was kind of my daily "around-town" driver in the nice months here. On a scale from 0-10 I was say it's 8.5 to 9 in terms of it overall appearance and condition, not factoring in the incorrect items on the car.
It's Corvette blue with white interior and white stinger if that matters.
Any dollar ranges would be very helpful. I can find values of 1966 Corvettes I just don't know how much to deduct for a non-matching #'s engine.
Congratulations, you have a beautiful car. Now the value will be to the buyer. If you find someone who wants a driver or cruiser, who agrees your car is beautiful, but who is not interested in NCRS or other car show issues, then you should be able to come to a great mutual agreement. WANT determines price.
