non ethonal fuel
I know what happened, and I know what caused it. Check out the use of ethanol gas on marine engines that are not ethanol approved. You are absolutely told not to use it because of the damage to rubber parts. I have rubber parts and I know what destroyed them. If this is against your thinking, so be it. I corrected the problems with a total cleaning and rebuild so I won't put a drop of that stuff in my tank again. I always used straight regular gas and sometimes added an octane additive. As to this happening before ethanol was added, do you think that additives (not refinery added) used to prevent gas line freeze up could have something to do with it? Who knows? We all have opinions, and unless you have experienced it, you will never know.
Happy motoring to all.
position need to move on too instead of whining. If you have old old lines on your car, change them. They're overdue evilanol or not.
