I have a 1967 with a 427 , it had headers on it and am putting exhaust manifolds back on it. What did it have for spark plug shields on it? If it didn't have any on iy new what are people using on it now?

67's did not have spark plug shields or the threaded holes in the heads to mount them. 65's & 66's did.

And even if you were dealing with a 65 or 66, the header flange will cover the bolt holes for the spark plug shields. There is also a good chance that the header tubes would interfere with the shields anyway.
Yes they are stock heads, and we got exhaust manifolds from Corvette Central they are not original though. The heads do not have the holes for attaching barrel heat shields.
