I think most of you have seen this pic I took in the 70s on my way home in my 62. Looks like it's famous now.....I just googled Lincoln Corvettes Seattle pics and it's the first one that comes up.....

Quite a few cool shots at their link.....

I got parts there in the early 70's, it was nice as not much was being reproduced then.

Funny , but one of those in the picture could be one of the cars that we have today or possibly a NCRS numbers matching auction car. They say "what goes around comes around "

Anybody have a picture of Friendly Chevrolet?
It was on Fonthill Rd (Rt 66) in Rialto CA.
My car was delivered there.
I can't seem to find anything on this dealership.
TIA,
Marshal

Here are two that remind me of cars, downtown and parades as a kid.

Here are some pictures from the family collection:
1) Cadillac is after my Grandmother hit a utility pole; broken front windshield was caused by me;
2) My Mother's 1959 Corvette in garage of parent's house;
3) My XK-E and friend's XK-140 in driveway of parent's house, Mark XI in garage was my father's car;
4) The XK-140 friend moved up to XK-E in 1963, seen here parked next to my Mother's 300 SL.
5) Another friend's 1957 300 SL that I brought back to New York from the Nez Perce Reservation in Idaho in 1974, picture taken along South Bank of Columbia River.
All cars now long gone except for the white 300 SL that I still have.

Wow! 300 SL and XK-E are two of the most iconic designs ever. XK-140 not shabby either. My favorites, for sure. Somebody in your family had some taste

Not to mention the Caddy and the 59 Vette!

Mother drove the Vette and a 300SL -- my kinda lady

300 SL's are so rare, and you folks apparently had two. That's kinda hogging the good stuff, if you ask me... (you didn't)

Thanks for the pics,

Mike
