I am the newbe that asked a question about fitting a 1963 hardtop to a 1966.
Now I have a couple more questions.
First, is there a way to get the instruments out without removing the complete dash unit. I am trying to clean the inside of the instrument glass and looking through the forum taking out the dash is not a lot of fun.
Secondly, I have the original sized tires and wonder the best tire pressure to use?
You'll need to remove the cluster and yes, its a pain. I just did mine this winter but much easier (if that applies) using suggestions by others who have been there ie removing seat steering column etc. Go to the FAQ or search gauge cluster removal, there's tons of info. Same goes for tire inflation.
