With a vin as low as #5,895 is is highly unlikely to be a factory AC car.

63 w A/C
It was my understanding that 63 A/C cars where after #14,000. Although I had worked on 63 #55 a number of years back and it had factory A/C. It was painted a special color Gold from American Motors and belonged to one of the big shots at GM who had it re run down the assembly line after production started later in the year. It was for his wife. I believe the gentlemen that owned it when I worked on it still owns it. I noticed on the Daytona Blue one that the center A/C duct seems to be mounted a little to high on the center dash, IMHO.
