Default Electrical Problem

67 Roadster. No panel lights, no turn signals, no clock. Fuses OK. 4-way, headlights, stop/running lights all OK. Ground problem? The wiring diagram shows a cluster ground. Do the intrument lights/turn signal flasher/clock share this ground? Where is it?

Any trouble shooting hints or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Ox

Doubt very much the problem is ground related. The fact that the flashers work and the brake lights work points right straight to the turn signal switch. The turn signals and brake lights share common circuitry. The tail (running) lights and brake/turn lights share common grounds so if one is grounded all are grounded. Your clock problem may be unrelated. I'll look at a wiring diagram and see if there is any connection, but I don't think so.

Fuelie: Yea, I'm heading in that direction now, too. Got the clock working, got the instrument cluster lights working - everything is now good -except the turn signals. I've got a good 12 volts to the flasher (I've tried a couple), but nada when I flip the turn signal stalk. So, how tricky is putting in a new turn signal switch? Any tips anyone?

Thanks much. Ox in Lovettsville

Ox, check the archives within the last 4 week under my user name. I gave someone a 90% rundown on what to do to replace the switch. This should do it. :yesnod:
