Grease, that is OK about the Hot Nuts don't worry about it. Just glas you got the car to pass inspection if you lived in Indiana you cold just go get your plates for the car.mHell we don't if your car is safe , just drive it like you got it in a car jacking . Stop by you get a anyway.
Grease - Why didn't you just spend $97.50 and put a PA "ANTIQUE" plate on it (one-time fee; no PA inspection required)? CONGRATS on your 8/23/2000 anniversary date on joining C/F (Also is wife Donna's birthday)
Yes - Mike - Thanks for making my car look so good, being parked beside me!
Congrats too on the Celebrity Choice Award - your first year out. You got Gus's vote, and if I were a judge you'd have mine too! I'm sure there will be many to follow! Maybe next year for the 64's 50th?
Also - Yours was one of the 3-way-tie winner of the 63-67 Registry People's Choice pick, not sure if you knew that.
Look forward to seeing you again next year.
BBQ Party at Mike's, everyone???
You placing them in a basket then using a normal smoker? How long? Never tried that before. We just boil them down here.
Mind sharing your recipe?
/Tracy
Honest to God Tracy it is easy. I buy a big can of peanuts, put them in a wire collander. Setup my smoker grill (CharGriller) with some mesquite. 250 degrees. After it's to temp, put the collander on the grill. Let them on for between 1/2 hour to an hour stirring occassionally. Then, take them off, put them in a large stainless steel bowl, and season them with whatever my mood decides. Need to put the seasoning on while they are hot, then stir to mix the seasoning on the nuts. The oils of the nuts will allow the seasoning to stick. After seasoning, I spread them out on cookie sheets to cool. Once cool, back into the can they came in.

So how many Celebrity pics do you guys have now?
I would LOVE to have a BBQ at my house next year, if y'all would skip the parade (or maybe some people. There were a ton of people there this year
.
I was very impressed on the comments I received on the car, seeing that it is not original.
A lot of comments on the paint and wheels. I really wasn't too happy with the paint, but glad it was just builder issues.
I was very happy meeting all that I did, and if I did talk to you and you didn't say you were on the forum I probably don't remember.
I did sell this great forum to all who I could. I had numerous new people to the hobby stop by to talk and ask questions about the car. I was really happy to answer what I could and then also directed them to get on this forum. The more people we get here, the more info that is availabel, and the more friends we make.
Tom - if you read my last post I delted it! I had such a BRAIN FART that it was unimaginable. I am so sorry!
Did you find a place to store that truck bed??? I saw an ad in the back of the program for a storage location right near the farigrounds Sunday evening in the "library".
