If you have much of a fire, you won't have to worry about cleaning it up. Halon (banned substance) and all the derivatives are absolutely useless in open air. The fire will create it's own wind. As the other poster stated, that product is designed to be used in a confined environment. It also gives off phosgene gas when it contacts hot metal. Remember WW I and the poison gases?

I spent 20 years in FD and 20 in fire education, several years in loss prevention for a very large company that had both computer rooms and over 2,500 vehicles.
