That sure is a beautiful car, but I have to comment on the front license plate. If that was given to you by a loved one I don't mean to offend, but that really hurts the look of the car. Just my opinion, but it feels like wearing a tux with sneakers.

No offense taken

The license plate is only for this week so other forum members can find me at Kissimmee - trust me I have a black plate that says "1963" in silver letters that normally goes on the front that is very classy.

The "Fink's" plate is a gag gift from a forum member...

Car looks great! However, looks like lots of negative camber on the right rear wheel (couldn't see the left rear); camber adjustment is pretty simple (easier than on a C1).

I see what you mean John...I have to check some other things underneath too...now that I'm driving the car seems I've got a small vibration/rough rolling going on....maybe wheel bearing....just enough to notice but somethings up...

Thanks..

The botttom pic is the first one where a C7 appears (to me) to have channeled the essence of the original Sting Ray (two words) coupe's tapered fastback roof.

Relax, gentlemen, the C2 remains the second or third best-styled postwar American car IMO.

1963 Studebaker Avanti will always be #1, '65 Mustang convertible is #3 or #3.

Great comparison .I would like too own a swc.I had two 68 roadsters.much different from my 61' I recommend corvettestuments is in Florida.great service Frank If I knew you were planning on a 63 I would have saved the 63 340 hp intake and carb for you. Bob Kuntz rebuild the carb.our clones on our 61s were built by same person I think.after reading about 097 cam I may remove the hyd l 79 cam this fall after a planned 1800 mile rodetrip enjoy your new corvette

Herb - you have full visitation rights anytime you're in town !

tach_drive61: Herb, the seller, included the original intake and carb with the car...I've restored them both but haven't decided to put them on yet. The car is running superbly as is...
