It's not a bad idea to leave a little on the top!!!!!
I thought that was funny!!!!!!!!
Come on people, it's just metal!!!!!!!!!!! The Auto crossmembers just bolt in and my Bowtie overdrive unit. I was so happy the day I cut that piece of crap out of the car. The ease of working on it now!
But if you are all NCRS thinking, then enjoy the extra in my opinion unnecessary work!
The crossmember is good but had large angle iron welded to it
With brackets?possibly some type of traction/ladder bar set up?
I don't know, possibly grind welds off of angle iron slowly and
Carefully,frame is excellent
I have been a Corvette enthusiast since way way long before the foundation of the NCRS!!!!!!! Yes it has a place, if that is your thing! I personally equate it to being similar to those religious groups that want to come to your door and tell you how you can change your life with their guidance. I have been at plenty of events where I have seen them closing in on my cars and kindly asked them to bypass my car and to hold their opinions! I don't have anything stock anywhere in the car! Therefore what they preach is foreign to my way of thinking related to Corvettes! And darn if they don't also carry Bibles around!!!!!! Weird concept to me!
