Yep its nice down there compared to what's up North.....the only negative thing is the salt spray..........oh, one thing and you don't need a front plate in Florida......

When you're a city-slicker like me living on the east coast, you know what parts of the state to avoid. When the mosquitoes are larger than my 15 lb. Westies, I know that I'm too far west! I have to pop a Xanax just to make the 1-1/2 hour ride across I-75 for some R&R on the west coast in Naples . The east coast is great; the west coast is very nice; the Keys are a blast; and Central Florida is also nice and fun for the kids. As for the rest of the state... well, you have the 'glades. I've never been to the panhandle, but I hear the beaches "up north" are beautiful there, too. I'm glad that you're enjoying our gorgeous South Florida winter weather! Post a few more photos in Key West if you get a chance. Try to get a shot in front of Sloppy Joe's and at the southernmost point in the US .

Roger that. My mechanic finished a few small things on my '64 and scheduled it for us to get it home before the rain. I think I'll go put some wax on it today.

Glad you made it back down. I was there last year for a wedding and saw you a couple of times-once on Duval. When I saw Cher, she was on the sidewalk not with you

 

Black60...on your way north out of the Keys, there is a great sandwich shop called Chad's around MM 100-ish in Tavernier on Plantation Key. My family has been eating there since they opened years ago. Or if you're looking for great pizza or Italian sub near there, try Tower of Pizza about MM 105 or so in south Key Largo. Enjoy the drive and the friendly folks. If anyone is rude in the Keys, it's usually a tourist. Gonna drive my 63 conv from Pensacola down to Tavernier to the folks' house next year after an engine & tranny (transmission) rebuild.

Cher was bar tending yesterday and couldn't come out for a ride down Duval to hump her show. I'll try not to let you guys down.

That is mean - 17 deg and iced over here in Arkansas this morning. When does this end?

 

Here in Boston this morning we are missing the storm, it went mostly south of us, only expecting an inch or two. But it's extremely cold here for March, in the teens. My son is flying to Winnipeg this morning on business. It's supposed to be -30 with the wind chill. Great timing for that trip. LOL
