Alignment Question
Eventually will have two sets of tires & rims:
radial tires on 6" KO reproductions, and, bias tires on GM 5.5" steel rims
Decided to have additional front toe in added to better suit the bias tires (3/16" - 5/16" total).
These are my questions:
1. Does it matter which set of tires & rims I have on the car at the time of the alignment process, whereas I want the alignment specs set for the bias tires because I may not have the steel rims available when I get this done? ---- Note: both the radials and the bias tires are identical in diameter; however, the radials are much wider.
2. Other than the increased front "toe in" for bias tires, are the remainder of the alignment specs the same for both bias and radials?
Thank you,
Ralph

I'd have the car aligned to the radial specs and forget about driving it on bias-ply tires.
