Just picked up a 375 unit that was stored without draining fuel, so it's a mess.
High pressure fuel pump "jerky" when rotating drive cable, so it's the first thing I remove.
Find that the 9 o'clock mount hole had one of the "long" screws installed. Once that screw was removed and replaced with the "short" screw the pump rotates freely.
Question: What damage was done if this unit was ever run with the "long" screw in the 9 o'clock mounting hole?
When you drained out the old fuel, was there anything else besides fuel? Any metal? If the screw is not damaged you may be lucky. The best thing to do if you have the know how is to disassemble the unit. Its probably time for a rebuild anyway.

No metal found in fuel bowl, just gunk.
Cleaned it up and ran a flow test---pretty even flow from all nozzles, but have no way to test if flow volume/rpm is adequate/correct.
Now have unit disassembled/cleaned, and ready to re-assemble.
Found Thumb Tack spill plunger, so someone has been in this unit before.
Thanks,
G.
