Default 1966 dash harness. ADDITIONAL QUESTION !

I need a real good picture or pictures of the dash harness laid out on the ground as it would be installed in the car. I am missing a couple of plug ends and wires on the right side and center In need of pictures for a 1966 late dash harness. Thanks, Wes

ADDITIONAL QUESTION.
Thank you John and Jack both of you are spec on. I have one other request. Can or do you have pictures or other of the tranistorized harness where the wires connect to the distributor coil and the harness itself. I noticed on the new harness that there where pink wires with plug connections that where taped into the engine harness. Not sure what to use. Thanks again, Wes

Dave thanks for responding. On my harness the plug that is on the harness is purple on both sides of the plugs. That is the Plug that I am questioning. My backup switch connection come off my dash harness ,come through the firewall and use a green and pink into a plug connection. I believe maybe your harness is a bit different.

Those wires are purple on my '65 too. Didn't mean to confuse you with that "lavender" bit above. These are the wires that connected to the plugs in the engine bay. You can see them and the back-up light wires in the photo of the shifter area below.

Do you think the engine harness would be the same through the 65-67 years as to make one for all.1965 using that purple plug connection and 66-67 using a different backup light connection cause mine as I had said came through the firewall using the plug off my dash harness and connecting to the switch So than on mine I would leave the purple wire plugs taped In the harness. Does that sound right. Thanks, Wes

They are all different to some extent, but they still use purple in color for the safety switch.

Back up lights were an extra cost option until '66 when they became standard equipment. Code T-86 for '63-'64 and Z-01 (comfort and convenience group) for '65. L/L may include this provision in their harnesses -- don't know if the general did.
