Yes I'm referring to the white on red '65 convertible.
The door panel in the seller's posted interior picture IS a '63-4 door panel and not a molded '65 door panel. It's reasonable if not prudent to to wonder what lies under the paint of this car.
As I said in the previous post no one is making an issue of the engine, nor am I.
It's the things one can see that make it reasonable to wonder what can't be seen.
You are correct on the door panels, I must have gotten mixed up on car pictures.

Funny, my car was originally delivered to the Wichita, KS Zone Office, but the trail stops there, unfortunately, until 1993 when it was bought by a guy in FL.
I shoulda paid a lot more for it as evidently KS cars are HOT right now...

I am not sure what it is about this vehicle that makes the dealer feel they can ask that price tag. Maybe it was driven by an astronaut or something. I was just putting it up there for anyone who might be looking for such a car/investment.
But, what is going on with the VIN tag? Bullet hole, maybe?

More info on the VIN tag please? I don't see one in the posted photos. In the picture of the interior from the right door area I can see what looks like one in the usual place in the left front door jam. Too small to make out any damage.
