You misunderstood his point. It was aimed at the companies that try to sign you up for their sales listing services and at the ever present scammers. The rest of the ad is fine.

I will not respond to texts or emails due to scammers, you must CALL me. Anybody that has tried to sell anything these days knows the score and no one has ever said they consider it negative. Of course the scammers text or email anyway. He called it by it’s correct name, “bullshit.”

So, if you loved the car you would cut off you nose to spite your face because the seller was simply warning scammers in the opening statement of his ad?

I am not questioning your intelligence just your though process on this. I don’t get how you can’t understand that the seller is simply addressing the scammers in his opening sentence. No need for any further conversation about this.

An advertisement that is abrasive and combatative turns many of us off immediately. Verbiage I would use with a friend over a cocktail I wouldn’t put in print because it’s unseemly. It’s a car advertisement not a Hemingway novel.
What is not unseemly is stating the same intent in firm but polite terms at the end of a listing.
