Check the plug from the rear body harnes that plugs into the dash harnes. Make sure you got continuity between the two plugs on all wires. If that's good you might have bad bulbs
The only electrical difference in the turn signal and the brake light on one side is the contact in the turn signal switch. When you turn on the turn signal to one side, it interrupts the brake light voltage and inserts the flasher voltage. It uses the same wire, same bulb, same filament, same ground for both the brake and the turn signal. So, the contact inside your turn signal is loose or corroded that goes to that side. Try holding the brake and wiggling the turn signal switch with the KEY OFF. If that brake light flashes or comes on while you're wiggling, you'll know for sure, but it could still be bad and not do that. Here's a picture of what those contacts look like. The cam from the signal switch stalk goes between the two curved prongs shown in the center. That's where your contact will be not making.

I have combined your info with some from an earlier thread in which "buns" (Tim Welsh) posted a photo of a faulty repro switch with internal contact issues. A PDF file is attached for those who might want to add it to their reference files.
So far (12+ years), I've been lucky with the repro switch I put in.
