Default C2 headlight bucket query

If I remove a headlight bucket for some fiberglass work on the shell and replace it without changing any components would I have to readjust the Y-stops or would they still be good-to-go ?

I think everything should be the same, except the fiberglass work could be slightly different and require some adjustments...

I guess you still have the early 'glass buckets. There really is no easy way out, the "y" stops should be good to go as long as you are careful with the "y" fitting. It may be a challenge to carefully loosen and replace that fitting in the same location, and certainly do not over tighten it during reassembly. Are you certain you cannot perform the glass repair while on the vehicle ? You know how one thing leads to another when we perform this sort of disassembly...hope it works out. Best...

I'll provide occasional reminders.

I can prob do the repair with the buckets in the car (the split window coupe that is); prob best to try it and not get into another darn project if I can avoid it....
