Default Quartz clock replacement problem

Just finished putting all back together (1964) after installing new quartz clock movement. Problem is minute and hour hands are loosing time but second hand goes around in a minute. (matching second hand with another clock)
any thoughts?

Look at your cell phone or watch for time?? Didn't know anyone really used the clock. For anyone that uses a battery cut of switch it would become never ending

I don't think that's possible unless something is manufactured incorrectly in the clock. The only possibility I can think of is it is losing power intermittently and not when you're looking (at the second hand). Like during the night, for example. I don't know what you mean by the hour hand losing time. How much time and over how long a period are we talking?

Figured it out minute hand was down on hour part of clock stem.
took it off and squeezed it a little to fit on it right place just a little higher
